Disguising my True Form

Digital Projection

Part of a team effort, we were asked to create an expressive piece of animation centered around the key theme, the result of which was to be mapped out, bringing an empty plinth to life.

Inspired by the Schrödinger's cat thought experiment, we aimed to create a sense of confusion within the viewer as they are left wondering about the contents of the box.
Just as Schrödinger's scenario presents a hypothetical cat that may be simultaneously both alive and dead, we wanted to evoke an unnerving and disorientating emotional response, as the viewer questions the reality and  state of the depicted figures.
The accompanying audio features found clips from radio transmissions, tuning in and out, seemingly allowing viewers a momentary glimpse into the ongoing conversation.
